Transition Town Bayswater Seed Library with Share Your Spare

Details: Saturday 5th May, 10am-12 noon at Environment House

On the first Saturday of every month Transition Town Bayswater is building a seed library at Environment House for sharing. You're welcome to come and see how it works plus collect or share seed. Join us also to share food and conversation. It's very relaxed and many interesting topics are discussed at 'Share Your Spare' mornings.

Locally collected seeds are better adapted to our conditions. When you collect seed from a plant at home they are often abundant and too many for one garden. There is a lot of joy in learning about the way a plant sets seed, the seed pod and the seed that will become next year's crop.
